Narratives of Resistance ~ Melbourne Film Festival

Join us in NOR:Melbourne Film Festival, where Narratives of Resistance (NOR) has curated a free art exhibition from 8 artists living in Gaza, to show art in resistance. This art exhibition will lead into our Mini Film Festival featuring daily life under displacement.
With help from Free Palestine Melbourne and BLINDSIDE Art Gallery, the festival will screen 7 short films and documentaries from the Palestine Film Institute and Nakba Film Works. Each film will be followed by a short discussion.
For the past year, Narratives of Resistance (NOR) has organised over 7 film fundraisers and raised around $12,000 USD with collaborators worldwide. Everything raised has been donated to community aid initiatives for Palestine, and directly to Palestinian families themselves.

- Tell al-Zaatar (1977) + poetry workshop

- 3 Logical Exits (2020)
- To My Father (2008) + spirituality workshop
