Response to ongoing tragedy hard to fathom

I am having trouble understanding why the Jewish population is being persecuted all over again.

Of course the civilian deaths in Gaza are a tragedy but let’s not forget how this war started.

Israel was invaded by Hamas terrorists and innocent people of all ages, were raped, brutalised and slaughtered in horrendous circumstances with hostages taken – their whereabouts unknown.

America did not hesitate to retaliate to the horrific terrorist attacks on home soil, so why has the world responded in such a hostile way to Israel wanting justice.

And why are so-called Australians responding in such an undemocratic way in what was our once an all-welcoming Australia?
