Gaza conflict

The article “Revenge vow after Gaza hits”, (HS, 11/5) refers to Israel targeting Islamic Jihad, “which it considers a terrorist group”.

Many other countries also consider Islamic Jihad a terrorist group, including Australia, the US, the UK, the European Union and New Zealand, and with good reason.

Its main activity is carrying out rocket, bombing or shooting attacks against civilians.
