18-year-old Palestinian Killed by Israeli Forces

An 18-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli forces on Saturday in East Jerusalem, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, 18-year-old Fayez Khaled Damdum was killed in the East Jerusalem town of Al ‘Eizariya.

Israel’s border police spokesperson said its forces killed a suspect who was attempting to throw a firebomb during violent protests in the area.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh released a statement calling on the international community to hold Israel responsible for Damdum’s death and “to provide international protection to the Palestinian people who are facing the Israeli killing machine that does not stop striking them.”
